Celebrity interior designer Kenny Davis (clients include Heidi Klum, Kathy Griffin, Ashton Kutcher and P. Diddy) created a cocktail made specially for the holiday season. His “Upside Down Christmas Tree Martini” is a festive and fresh addition to any holiday party (not to mention a nice break from the standard issue eggnog). True to its name, the “Upside Down Christmas Tree Martini” is “Christmas Tree” green and decorated with pomegranate seeds at the bottom of the glass for that extra sparkle.
2 oz. Vodka (Grey Goose)
1/4 oz. Lemon Juice
2 slices Cucumber
3 pieces Mint
1/2 oz. Sugar Syrup
Mixing Instructions
Muddle mint and a cucumber slice in a cocktail shaker. Add other ingredients and ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a slice of cucumber, Pomegranate seeds and a fresh mint sprig.
